About Myrtle Beach Convention Center

Myrtle Beach Convention CenterLocated in the heart of the Grand Strand, the Myrtle Beach Convention Center is a superb location for trade shows, performances, exhibitions, conventions, sporting events, weddings, and receptions. Highlighting the center is a 108,000 square foot exhibition hall. There is also an outdoor plaza, Grand Ballroom, and many smaller meeting rooms. These areas are completely flexible and customizable for event needs. Video conferencing, catering, and state of the art equipment are all available through the center.

The center, located at 2101 N Oak Street, was originally constructed in 1967 and expanded 3 times. The 2003 expansion added a hotel, parking garage, and an events plaza.

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is home to a giant whale mural, painted by renowned sea life artist, Wyland. The South Carolina Hall of Fame is located on the lower level and is free of charge during normal business hours. Circle of Flags on the Plaza flies state flags from the original 13 colonies. A spectacular display of thousands of seashells is viewable in the lobby near the spiral staircase.
